Factory Blasting Ireland

In-situ blasting of factory structures, plant, racking and floors around production.

Factory blasting is preparation work carried out inside a working building — structural steel, mezzanines, racking, pipework, machine frames and floors. Rayco plans this around production: containment screens off the work area, dust is extracted and abrasive recovered, and shifts can run at night, at weekends or during shutdown so the line keeps running. Floors are prepared with closed-circuit machines that recycle shot and vacuum debris as they travel.

This service forms part of our nationwide Shotblasting Ireland work — see that page for the full process, standards and county coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can blasting be done while the factory is operating?

In most cases yes, with the work area screened and extracted. Where dust or noise cannot be tolerated near the process, we schedule shutdown or out-of-hours shifts.

How is dust controlled indoors?

Sheeted containment, negative-pressure extraction and immediate recovery of spent abrasive, with closed-circuit machines used on floors.
