Shotblasting for Industrial Flooring

Concrete floor preparation for epoxy, polyurethane and resin systems in factories and warehouses.

Resin and epoxy floors fail when the concrete underneath is not properly prepared. Rayco shotblasts industrial and warehouse floors to remove laitance, old coatings, adhesives and contamination, leaving a clean, open, mechanically keyed surface (typically CSP 3–5) ready for the flooring contractor. Our closed-circuit machines recycle abrasive and collect dust, so floors can be prepared inside occupied buildings with minimal disruption.

Typical Applications

Warehouse and factory floor preparation before resin
Removal of failed epoxy, paint and adhesive residues
Laitance removal on new power-floated slabs
Line-marking removal
Anti-slip profiling on ramps and loading bays

Frequently Asked Questions

How much dust does floor shotblasting create?

Very little. Our machines are closed-circuit with integrated vacuum recovery, so most internal floors can be blasted while adjacent areas stay in use.

What surface profile do resin floors need?

Most systems specify CSP 3–5 depending on coating thickness. We set the machine to the flooring manufacturer's requirement.
